LIVE MUSIC AT THE PELTON ARMS

The Pelton Arms in Greenwich is one of the best venues in south east London to see live music in an intimate setting. Past chart-topping bands have included Squeeze and The Christians, and established and popular local bands that have played there recently have included The Celtic Hearts, The Hi-Fi Sneakers and Danny and the Moonlighters. Nine Below Zero’s Dennis Greaves oversees an open mic blues jam the last Sunday of the month.

MARYON WILSON PARK ANIMAL TOURS – FREE
Wednesdays, 1.30pm
Two-hour tours of the small animal park give children the opportunity to feed, pet and interact with the animals. The tours are strictly limited to the first 50 people on the day. Tours begin at the deer pen.

MEET ME AT THE ALBANY: ARTS AND SOCIAL CLUB FOR OVER-65s
Tuesdays 10.30am-2.30pm, £3 per session
Club members come together with artists at The Albany and get involved with everything from choir to painting, poetry to drumming, dancing to fashion shows, or just having a chat over a cup of tea. There are also sessions over the phone for those who can’t get out and about as easily.
